Logo Design
When my good friend Ali decided to formally launch her event planning business, I was honored that she turned to me to help polish up an idea she had for a brand and logo. Enjoyful Events was born, serving the Twin Cities and surrounding area through event planning, event coordination and event design.
Ali brings not only organization and order to every event, but also an immense amount of excitement and joy, and that was top of mind when thinking about a logo mark that could encompass this dream of hers.
She had pulled an image of a dandelion blowing in the wind and this quickly morphed into the tittle of the letter āJā to lend a carefree feel to the much more organized typography in the rest of the mark. This dandelion mark can also be used separately.
For the color palette, it was important that the brand colors could represent a variety of event styles that expand beyond weddings and provide Ali flexibility in her marketing for years to come - the final decision landed us on blush, gold, rust, navy and a neutral warm gray.
Social Media Ads
Starting a business during a pandemic, Ali knew that most of her business would come from an online and social media presence. I created a variety of Instagram and Facebook ads that could be mixed in with her other content to strengthen the new brand and help build consistency across viewers. It was important to utilize imagery beyond weddings and pull in different combinations of the finalized color palette.
Instagram Launch Posts
Similar to the Social Media ads, creating a few canned posts helps add some brand consistency to the Instagram feed in between real life clients and styled shoots.
